Omega-3 fatty acids are sensitive to contact with air. They oxidise easily, which may damage their valuable structure and reduce their effectiveness.

Licaps® Technology is designed to preserve the stability of the contents. Contact with air is prevented to ensure that the active ingredients retain their properties throughout production and until consumption. While softgel products may begin to oxidise during production, oxidation does not occur with Licaps® Technology.

Softgel capsules are soft capsules that can be compressed between two fingers. They are permeable to air, which may cause the Omega-3 fatty acids inside them to oxidise and deteriorate.
