Dr. Ümit Aktaş Vitamin B12 & Folic Acid;
Sublingual absorption and chewable tablet with patented Methylcobalamin (MecobalActive® Vitamin B12) and Methylfolate (Quatrefolic® methylfolate).
Each tablet contains 1000 µg (mcg) of methylcobalamin B12 and 600 µg (mcg) of methylfolate.
- Methylcobalamin is the active form of Vitamin B12.
- Methylfolate is the active form of folic acid (Vitamin B9).
MecobalActive® is a vegan and certified form of Vitamin B12.
Quatrefolic® is a patented folic acid (Vitamin B9) product.
A deficiency in Vitamin B12 often results from absorption disorders in the gastrointestinal tract. Therefore, traditionally consumed Vitamin B12 may not be sufficiently absorbed by the body through digestion. Methylcobalamin – the active form of Vitamin B12 – is absorbed through the oral mucosa while chewing. Absorption occurs sublingually (under the tongue), allowing it to directly enter the bloodstream — bypassing digestion and the need for conversion by the body. This ensures your body receives the full active dose of Vitamin B12.

Benefits of MecobalActive®:
- Each tablet contains a single dose of 1,000 micrograms of MecobalActive Vitamin B12, which is a higher dosage compared to many other B12 supplements.
- MecobalActive has higher bioavailability than other forms of B12, allowing the body to absorb more of it.
- Made with natural flavoring and free of preservatives.
Benefits of Quatrefolic®:
- Quatrefolic® is non-synthetic and better absorbed and utilized than synthetic forms of folic acid because it exists in its natural form.
- Quatrefolic® is a pure and active source of Vitamin B9 that can be directly used by the body.
- Its purity, high stability, strong bioavailability, and safety ensure better absorption and effectiveness compared to other forms of folic acid.
- Quatrefolic® is more stable and longer-lasting than other folic acid (Vitamin B9) forms and offers long-term benefits.
- Because Quatrefolic® is already in its active form, it does not require enzymatic conversion and is immediately bioavailable. Clinical studies have shown that nearly half of people have a non-functioning MTHFR enzyme, which is necessary for folic acid conversion.
- It has been deemed safe by the FDA. Due to the increased folate need during pregnancy and the body's limited ability to process folic acid derivatives, pregnant women or those planning to conceive may benefit from supplements containing Quatrefolic®.
